The Bible — Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for what we believe and how we live; nothing is added to it, and nothing is taken away. (2 Timothy 3:16–17 · 2 Peter 1:20–21)
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal and co-eternal. He is the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of all who call on His name. (Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitute for our sin, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and is coming again. (John 1:1,14 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · Hebrews 1:3)
Salvation is a free gift, received by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ — not by works, so no one can boast. Whoever confesses Jesus as Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead is born again and made a new creation. (Ephesians 2:8–9 · Romans 10:9–10 · 2 Corinthians 5:17)
Water baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith, identifying the believer with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. It doesn't save — it testifies to a salvation already received. (Matthew 28:19 · Romans 6:3–4 · Acts 2:38)
The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience available to every believer subsequent to salvation, clothing the Christian with power for life and witness. Speaking in other tongues is the initial physical evidence of this baptism, exactly as it was for the early Church in the book of Acts — and praying in tongues remains a vital part of the believer's ongoing prayer life today. (Acts 1:8 · Acts 2:4 · Acts 19:1–6 · 1 Corinthians 14:2,4,18)
The nine gifts of the Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12 — the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, divers kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues — are for the Church today, not only the first century. We earnestly desire and pursue the operation of these gifts as the Spirit distributes them, for the building up of the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:1,7–11 · 1 Corinthians 14:1)
Healing was purchased at the cross alongside our salvation from sin — by His stripes we were healed. Divine healing is not the exception; it is the covenant right of every believer, and we pray for the sick expecting God to heal, both instantly and progressively. (Isaiah 53:4–5 · Matthew 8:16–17 · James 5:14–15)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever — and signs, wonders, and miracles are meant to follow the preaching of the gospel in this generation exactly as they did in the first. We do not preach a message stripped of power; we preach Christ crucified, risen, and still moving today. (Mark 16:17–20 · Hebrews 13:8 · Acts 4:29–31)
God delights in the prosperity of His people — spirit, soul, body, and finances — and giving and receiving operate by seedtime and harvest. God is not just able but willing to meet every need of those who put Him first, according to His riches in glory. (3 John 2 · Philippians 4:19 · 2 Corinthians 9:6–8 · Malachi 3:10)
The Church is the Body of Christ on the earth, commissioned to preach the gospel to every creature, make disciples of all nations, and demonstrate the Kingdom of God in word and in power until Jesus returns. (Matthew 28:18–20 · Mark 16:15 · Ephesians 1:22–23)
We believe in the personal, bodily, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the resurrection of the dead — the saved to everlasting life, and the lost to everlasting separation from God. Until He comes, we live watchful, holy, and ready. (Titus 2:13 · 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 · Revelation 20:11–15)
